History of the Name
The name Mack1er comes from the graffiti alias "Mack Oner." Way back when, there was a time when everybody put a "1" or "one" after their names. Around that time names ending in an "e" got an "r" tacked on at the end. Thus Mack became Mack One, Mack One became Mack Oner.With the advent of the Internet "Mack Oner" became a little too long for screen names and such so shit got shortened to Mack1er.
History of Mack1er
Mack1er considers himself a poet and a warrior. (He is a convincing and avid liar too, and he is writing this bio so take everything written here with a grain of salt ;-) Much of his adult life has been spent in the pursuit of the Martial Arts. In between intense training, fighting, and paramilitary behavior, Mack1er expresses himself through verse and through his music (usually after 8-14 beers), bringing to light his experiences in life, love, hate, and loss.As anger and hate are powerful fuels, Mack1er constantly pushes himself to achieve with unbridled passion and energy. Many of his personal philosophies are secretly woven into his lyrics; philosophies that have deep ties in Taoism, Buddhism, and just good old fashion common sense. Good examples of such can be found in The Time is Now and How Did We Get Here.
Mack1er resides somewhere on the East Coast of the United States, is largely nocturnal, and prefers Guinness. If you want to know more then you should just listen to his music.
